There is no substitute to being fully known and unconditionally loved, regardless of your season of life or past choices. We all carry burdens—some heavy, some light—and sometimes we need a helping hand to bear them. This is my greatest privilege, walking alongside those who are hurting while reflecting the heart of Christ in their journey. My counseling approach highlights the transformative power of a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in empathy, clinical insight, and biblical truth. My aim is to foster a safe space for clients to process wounds, find healing, and regain hope, rooted in the belief that it is the transformative power of God's love through the Holy Spirit that brings ultimate healing.
I integrate biblical principles with clinical approaches, drawing from person-centered, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral theories, while also embracing an eclectic approach to tailor treatment to each individual. I see clients as the experts of their own stories and offer gentle guidance to help them uncover their inner strengths and resilience. Grounded in a Christian worldview, I welcome clients of all backgrounds, offering faith-based integration upon request while honoring and respecting diverse beliefs to meet each client where they are.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, and relational difficulties. I enjoy working with adults across all stages of life, with a special focus on young adults and older adolescents. As a Theraplay-trained practitioner, I also love working with children aged 6 and up, fostering connection and growth through play-based techniques. Additionally, I am a proud member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the State of Texas.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Bible, Missions, and Ministry from Abilene Christian University, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Houston Christian University. During my graduate studies, I developed a deep love for the vibrant city of Houston and couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home.
When I’m not counseling, I enjoy staying active through exercise, spending time outdoors, and indulging my love for cooking and baking. I am also passionate about serving in my church community, connecting with friends, listening to podcasts, and traveling whenever time allows!
