I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Development. I have a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas.
I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Therapy, EMDR, and TF-CBT. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and seek ways to incorporate these approaches to meet the needs of my clients. As 1 Timothy 4:12 states, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young…” I believe that understanding the development of children grows my appreciation for them at their stage of life and helps me connect with them on their level.
