No matter what you have faced, the Lord can always restore and transform what once seemed hopeless.
I believe God has created each us with the desire to succeed in relationships and fulfill purpose in life. Suffering, pain, problems and challenges are a part of our journey, but they do not need to define our identity and future. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathetic, nonjudgmental, and relaxed. I strive to provide a safe-supportive environment for you to share your experience and to feel heard.
I have been a Christian therapist since 2004. I work with adults (20+) experiencing depression, anxiety and major life transitions. I take an approach that centers God at the focus of every life challenge my clients face. I also recognize that we are all in different places in our journey with God and use discernment and sensitivity to navigate the incorporation of this into my sessions. I will meet you where you are on your journey.
I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have found these modes of therapy as effective In working with clients overcoming depression, anxiety and even addictions.
I have a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology and a PhD in Social Work. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas.
I enjoy spending time with my family, serving at my local church and watching Christmas movies all year!
