I consider it a privilege to be a part of every client’s journey of healing and growth. Therapy is effective when both the skilled guidance of the counselor and the personal insight of the client come together. I strive to take a holistic approach in therapy by utilizing a wide range of evidence-based practices that will best meet your specific needs. With time, consistency, and dedication clients can achieve their goals and see positive, lasting change in their lives.

I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families and have a particular passion for helping those struggling with men’s issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.

My goal is to provide a judgement-free space that is emotionally safe and supportive as we work together to help address the challenges you are facing. I offer faith-based counseling to whatever degree you are comfortable with while honoring and respecting the religious beliefs, cultural backgrounds, and personal values of all my clients. I enjoy walking alongside clients who are struggling with issues related to their faith and spiritual life, including healing from church hurt.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from Seattle Pacific University in 2013 and both my Master of Theology in 2019 and Master of Arts in Counseling in 2023 from Dallas Theological Seminary. I am also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Although I was born in Texas, I grew up in a military family living in Europe and the Pacific Northwest where I also spent time in the Boy Scouts of America and became a third-generation Eagle Scout. While attending college and seminary, I was given the opportunity to study abroad in Spain and the Middle East. My travels have helped me learn about and appreciate the diverse history and cultures of people from around the world.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Evan. We love going on road trips and spending time outdoors - camping, backpacking, hiking, biking, skiing, and visiting national and state parks around the country. I am a coffee enthusiast and enjoy going to the movies and reading books on psychology, history, and theology. I am also a lifelong fan of Star Wars and the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
