Since 1987, I have had the opportunity to counsel people in many different areas of the country ranging from the Delta of Mississippi to the inner city of Detroit. I understand through personal experience and by helping others that change is an individual journey that one chooses to travel in their own way. As a result, my approach to counseling is one of patience and love. I sincerely desire to assist you as a client through your personal journey by using open and compassionate communication, personalized reading assignments and various other tools that are available in the counseling field. I received my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and my Bachelor of Arts degree from Ambassador University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my diverse interests include helping couples with pre-marital and marital counseling, and assisting individuals and families with the challenges related to grief, anger, abuse, infertility, adoption, forgiveness, and depression. I have experienced and witnessed the power of God’s compassion and mercy and believe that it is never too late to seek help and find the peace that God can provide. I have a strong desire to help families and individuals work through the pain that life situations can bring. I have been married to my wife Debra since 1984 and we have two teenage children.
