Jvona’s relationship with God is the most important thing to her. She credits her success in counseling to her partnership with God. She works with people from all beliefs. Some are Christians, Jews and some do not believe in God. Knowing that God loves everyone, her hope is to help everyone love and accept themselves as God does.

Jvona is a licensed as a Professional Counselor (1991) and a Marriage and Family Therapist (1994). She began her career working at psychiatric hospitals with the Rapha Christian treatment centers. From there she went to HCCC in 1993. She later worked at United Behavioral Health for 4 years, gaining valuable experience, before happily returning to HCCC in 2008.

Jvona works with people 8 to 80 years of age. She has much experience with clinical diagnoses as well as life stresses. Her forte is marriage and family therapy with an emphasis on marriage counseling.
